The medicines of
Song-filled counseling and healing are deeply needed in our
world. In keeping with the Earth's shifting and her
signaling to us as a People to awaken to our beauty, power, and
sacredness, there is a great calling for guides, healers, and
elders to step forward and pursue their medicines. The purpose
behind the 4 Year Shamanic Counseling/Guiding Program is to
offer committed students the unique opportunity to study Ka Ta See
in ways to develop their gifts to become vibrant, clear, and potent
shamanic counselors. The course serves as a means for participants
to effectively empower themselves and others in awakening to Song
and shedding of masks that hide and squelch their
aliveness.
The 4 Year Program is
comprised primarily of the following:
- Two full weekend
teaching classes per year, meeting near Santa Fe, New
Mexico
- A 1 hour individual Song and mask
counseling phone session per month for the entirety of the course,
except for the months the classes are held
- Song stimulating
exploratory assignments and professionally related experiences
between classes
Calendar of Program
- The first 4 Year Program
began in September 2006.
- The second 4 Year
Program is slated for the fall of
2008 or spring of 2009.
Requirements and
Applications
Requirements for participation are: a strong desire to live
in your Song - the signature of your joy and aliveness,
a willingness to enter your Bear Cave to look within to
unplug your Masks, an eagerness to have fun and learn, and a
commitment to complete all classes, phone sessions, and home
assignments.
Applications for acceptance are now being taken for the 2008
Program. Registration is based on the order we have
received your application. To apply please send an email
describing yourself and your background and why you want to
participate in the program. Individuals of all backgrounds and
professions are welcome to apply.
